Hello OPC Members,

As the COVID situation progresses, it is becoming increasingly clear that we do not know what next year will look like. While we’d really like to be able to host a conference in the traditional sense and see you all face to face, there is always the chance that this might not be a possibility (second/third wave, travel restrictions, limits on gathering sizes etc.) and our first priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of our members.

We had been looking to postpone the 2020 Conferenceto 2021 and update you all with confirmed 2021 dates, however, alterations to this plan have been made. We have made the decision to cancel the 2020 conference and not immediately sign a contract for 2021. We hope that we will be able to bring the conference to Fredericton in 2021 and will renegotiate this piece as the future becomes a bit more clear

We want to ensure we are able to continue our tradition of connecting, sharing and learning together, but at a time that is safe to do so. We have made this decision factoring in the on-going uncertainty around COVID-19 and its potential impacts on the health and safety of the participants, exhibitors, speakers, and the local host community as well as financial hardships on the P&O community.

During this time, if you have time sensitive content which you would like to share with members more immediately and would like to present virtually, please let us know and we will provide solutions on a case by case basis.

Wishing you all the best!
